Week 8: Mad Scientist Madness - Unleash Your Inner Scientist! August 19- August 23- 5 Day camp Join us for a thrilling 5-day camp starting August 19th where young minds will delve into the fascinating world of science through exhilarating experiments and hands-on activities! 🔬 Objective: Dive into the realm of scientific discovery and exploration as campers engage in exciting experiments and learn about the wonders of the natural world. Talking Activity: Science Storytelling Session Fuel curiosity and imagination as campers share their favorite science-related stories and experiences. From memorable experiments to inspiring moments from famous scientists' lives, ignite a passion for discovery and innovation! Field Trip: Get ready for a journey into the world of sustainability and innovation, we have a few really unique field trips and speakers to talk about sustainability from landfills, water and farms. We promise this will inspire! Snacks: Indulge in Erlenmeyer Flask Jell-O, Candy DNA, Edible Sugar Crystals, Solar Oven S'mores, and other delectable treats inspired by the world of science and experimentation. Games: Embark on a series of exhilarating challenges including Chemical Reaction Races, DIY Volcano Eruption, Alien Slime Making, Rocket Launch Competition, and the Inventor's Challenge! Let your creativity and curiosity run wild as you explore the wonders of science! Art Activities: Dive into the creative side of science with Science Experiment Journals, Galaxy Art, Inventor's Blueprint Drawings, Slime Creature Sculptures, and Rocket Design Posters! Cancellation Policy

Please note that these services cannot be cancelled. We do understand that extenuating circumstances arise and would gladly work with families in certain situations. Please understand that we are working in advance to make this a wonderful program for the kids in advance and we do require to staff our facilities and ensure that we have an adequate number of staff present to ensure that our ratio of qualified adults to children is adhered to. We're also pre-paying and arranging field trips and other activities that require deposits and the price per person. Please make sure to email director@coolaidsociety.ca for any extenuating circumstances as we may be able to adjust on a case-by-case basis. We do have waitlists to our programs, and hope that with the cancellation, we can contact another family to take your child(ren) place if available.
